Newton 300
Celebrating Isaac Newton, 1642—1727
300 years on: celebrating Isaac Newton through history, science and fiction.
Three hundred years after Newton’s death, discover the events, talks and celebrations marking his extraordinary legacy — and the publication of Master of Gravity.
Master of Gravity — A Novel of Isaac Newton
Before he became one of history’s greatest scientists, Isaac Newton was a lonely boy growing up on a Lincolnshire farm, struggling to find his place in the world.
Master of Gravity tells the story of the young Newton, from his childhood in Woolsthorpe to his years at Cambridge, and the extraordinary discoveries that would transform our understanding of the universe. But it is also the story of the man behind the genius — his ambition, isolation and the personal cost of challenging accepted ideas.
Published by The Book Guild on 28 February 2027, the novel will be launched at Newton’s birthplace, Woolsthorpe Manor, as part of the Newton 300 commemorations.
